Looking For A Stock CD Player
Hey, I just bought a new 97 Civic, and I'm trying to keep it as stock as possible on the inside (for now). However it only has the stock Tape Slave Deck, I'm looking to update that to the CD Slave drive. Preferrably for as little $ as possible. Anyone have a second hand one to sell cheap? I live in Canada, and shipping would not be a horrible problem.

I'd suggest looking for one in Ebay. I was going to do the same thing but it was cheaper for me to put my old JVC cd player in and it sounded better. If you have an EX like I do installing an aftermarket CD player you will have to keep the stock radio wired up with the smaller harness and stash it away behind the new radio if you want to keep the stock keyless entry working and the overhead light working when you open the door.

Yeah, I have an LX, and the owner before me had a cd/stereo unit, so I do have the adapter and the wirering, but I'm just going to try to keep the interior as stock as possible.

i've got just the slave drive from a 97 Ex... i don't know the code (? how do i find out?) but i've got a remote for the car if that matters.. i'm not sure.. i don't need the remote.. got a aftermarket one..
just make me an offer.. (reasonable) i wanna get it out of my closet..
