Questions answered by Honda Expert Ryan Basseri of RywireHey Ryan, back again with another question. First, I'm going into unchartered waters here, doing a K24 swap in my 3g Prelude. It's been attempted but not finished due to other projects, so I've decided to be the one to finish in this chassis. Going to be sick. I'm doing a '06/'07-spec K24A2 with DC5R transmission. Will this be a good setup, or do I need the TSX or RSX Type S trans? I know the DC5R comes off of a high-revving motor, but the 24 revs nothing like a K20. Will that be a bad swap? Also, will DC5R pistons work in a K24A2, and if so, can the factory rods handle that compression? Thanks for the info and responding.
