ok but why spend a ton of money on somehting when theres something else that practically the same thing as means of style being origanal...RWD\...mid engine... t-tops if u liek them...i bought my mr2 for 5500 an its mint..spent like 4 grand into it an i bet a NSX $ for $ cant touch me... idk i guess if u liek wasting money then go for the NSX or if u have it to waste....i always wondered why i took honda a long time to finally put a turbo on a car\..to bad its an SUV..im not hatin so dont get that impression..all im saying if ur goin to spend that much on a car u might has well get a TT supra or a RX-7...$for$ thats all im saying

the thing is that the NSX isnt just about power-- it's about design and innovation

honda could have chose to slap a turbo on a car in the mid to late 80's when the per liter taxations came in, but instead they choose to innovate and do something different-- and now they hold the rights to something that all it's competitors want, yet cannot have. (VTEC is still the only system, short of the one used in the yamaha designed Celica GT-S motor, that allows differences in valve lift)

beyond that the NSX was the first car to be made of alluminum and it's one of the best handling cars that was ever created-- in a stright line you might be able to kill an NSX, but so can a handlful of other cars-- where the NSX accels is in the turns and on a track-- it's honestly a thing of beauty.

did it match up against the competition? i don't really think so (though some will fight it and there are some lap times to back it up), but then again the competition also consisted of ferrari's and lambo's that cost 50% more than the NSX.

just face it you bought an MR2-- good for you-- but it doesnt make it an NSX
