no, he was 100% correct. it tried to hard to be what it could never be. for what it was it was amazing, but it was still no where close to being a ferrari

The NSX was NEVER a Ferrari, but that is Honda's fault because they thought about everything on the NSX and thoughly its engine.
The V6 works like a V8, but some how the V6 only fits on a Sports Sedan and A Coupe rather than in a Sports Coupe with such aerodynamics and style Honda should of have used a 3.8 Liter V8 for the NSX in 1997 instead of the same engine improved by 0.2 Liters and 20 HP.
Luxury sedans like BMWs or a perfect example, The Acura RL would beat it's own brand's supercar if it wouldn't have been for Weight, aerodynamics and non-aluminium or carbon fiber body.
RL/Legend - V6 3.5 Liter 300 Horsepower
NSX - V6 3.0/3.2 Liter 270/290 Horsepower.

If Honda would of have used a 3.5 or 3.8 Liter V8 for the NSX, that engine would work like a V10 and beat the Ferrari 360 and the Viper.
But this is only my text about the nsx not being a ferrari, I love the NSX How it is.
But if honda would of have used a V8 for it's super car, Then it would have been the world's Ferrari.
I always have dreamed with Honda, A Japanese Motor Company to make such powerful sports car that could beat Ferrari.
Honda has made awesome cars, but in that video that guy says "no matter how they tried it was never a ferrari". I think Honda didn't even try to make the NSX A Ferrari... If not to make the NSX they're example of power.

the thing i was trying to say is the nsx did it's job.

it was a technological marvel at the time of it's inception, but now it's 15 years later and time to move on.

Honda could have done body improvements for the NSX all these years too, I mean, They should have made various generation NSXs.

no. it should be treated like it was. like any other supercar. it's just they left it out there too long and it will be too far off until the replacement comes.

Honda has said their next generation supercar will have their v10 engine they use for racing (F1 I think).

it can not possibly be the same engine. it would have to be somewhere above the 4L mark i would assume (most likely it will be semi- high revving, i'd expect no less than a 7k redline, so 400-500cc per cylinder would make sense, trading off the roating mass of a wide bore and the balancing of a longer stroke for a more continous powerband)

... again theres no way it will be the f1 engine if you could get an f1 engine to run on pump gas you would then also have to make it street friendly, f1 engines most certainly not that.

--and yes it has been rumoured to be a v10
