Anyone else have people try to race them and other stuff like that.

I just stumbled into this forum and noticed this post. I initially only signed up here for the classifieds, but heck, I'll respond to this 
I guess I could understand not wanting to race it. But then again, you bought a borderline exotic sports car. It's not like it's a dream drifting car (major understeer like something fierce) so that leaves you with 1/4 mile or straight line racing
And people are GOING to want to race you. You should've realized this when you purchased the car.
The NSX would be a fun car if it had more power. It's sad that a stock $8,000 1994 3000GT VR-4 would smoke the newer $70,000 NSX.

Tell me this, would anyone buy an STI if it did 18 seconds in the 1/4 mile? NO! It would be another ugly car by Subaru. Same with the Evo by Shitsubishi.

Wow, this thread just won't go away. To the original post...I'd like to have a car that costs as much as a house, but I digress.
There's not much you can do about challenges on the road, except maybe waving them off. When you get a challenge by some kid in a gas station, consider it a compliment. If it were me, I'd just give them a self-assured chuckle and say, "nah... that's ok, I do all my racing on a track", turn around and leave before they get a chance to reply. I never get bothered in my Accord. I guess if you want to be left alone, get a family car.
