cadillac is indeed developing a brand identity, and i think they're doing a pretty good job of it so far. i'd say they're doing a great job of shedding the "old person car" image. BUT determining the long term success of this transformation is still many years off. as of now, i don't see a lot of attention being given to the CTS. its a good car, but i don't think its generating the success that they had hoped for. it was billed as a revolution in design - the new era for cadillac, like when fins appeared first on cadillacs.. for one thing, that design revolution didn't happen. i hardly see any CTS's on the road (whether its in southern california or northern california).. so i'm still a little skeptical about cadillac's future. still, what they're doing is ages ahead of the rest of GM.. and we'll just have to wait and see if cadillac can break back into the luxury car market.

Cadillac has been selling at least 4000 copies of the CTS per month since its introduction. That's a pretty solid pace to me.

The STS looks to be shaping up nicely. For some reason the center stack kind of reminds me of the Infiniti FX.

Probably just because of the vertical grilles on the vents and the nav screen

I've been seeing quite a few STSs up here. That new dash design for the CTS is fabulous. I'm still trying to get a grip that this is General Motors. The more I read and see, the more it seems there is a God and he really does listen.

I've always wanted GM to have the best cars. I've always had the mind set that I would buy American first if they offered a competitive product. I was beginning to loose hope untill about six months ago. I know you're gonna ask why was I always quick to trash them if I wanted them to do well. It's frustration I guess. I need an attractive car that I can just drive and forget, and GM just hasn't made those.

Looks photoshopped but that's probably pretty close to the real thing. Doh, of course it's photoshopped, the pic is captioned as a concept illustration.
