Fit and Versa competitor? Looks like it. 85HP 1.3 liter standard or a 100HP 1.5 liter I-4.

This thing better be lightweight :happysad:

It's basically the new Demio.

Front end looks a bit like the old Ford Ka.

I'll take a Fit instead.

DO it! I hope Mazda brings it over. They need the market share. Maybe eventually they can put together a MazdaSpeed 2! That would be fun to drive especially with the same MZE series thats in the Speed 3/6. I know it wouldn't happen but I can dream.. Hell downgrade the MZE and it'd still be a beast especially if the car is as lightweight as they predict it will be.

yes, I hope they bring it to the US. a MS2 sounds neat, 160hp+ in a 2400lb. hatch with Mazda's chassis tricks, fun! did the last Gen. come as a 3 door hatch as well?

Looks pretty similar, but its not like they copied the tail lights. How many different designs can u have. Eventually they will all be similar.

I would definitely look into buying one of these if they were brought over. I am really finding less and less of a need for a larger car in my life. I barely drive mine as it is, and this thing would be a lot easier to park around here.

I've read that Ford plans to sell B-Segment cars in the USA very soon. Likely produced at one of Ford's Mexican assembly lines, it will likely include the Mazda 2 just unveiled and the related next-generation Ford Fiesta.
