2006 BMW 3-series spy shots
(Click for bigger pics)
Except for a few pieces of strategically placed silver and black tape, this BMW 3-Series is virtually uncovered and completely exposed. Never before have we seen the upcoming 3-Series without excessive cladding and fake body panels.
The official introduction for the new 3-Series is scheduled next fall (2005) at the Frankfurt Motor Show, with sales starting shortly afterwards.
The sedan will be followed by the wagon's introduction six months later, with the coupe and convertible making their debut in the fall of 2006.

I don't like the new grill treatment. the rear looks okay at least in those pictures. I'll wait til it's shown to decide.

Like stays true with recent history, BMW, especially the 3-series is going downhill as time passes on. IMO at least. The slight facelift on the 3 now is uglier, and that redesign is 10X uglier, at least from the "spy shots"

well, you can't tell anything from those shots except general body shape. the edges of the headlights and taillights and grill are covered in tape, and those are the biggest elements of a car's design.
