Does anyone know the regulations for European motorcycles?
Hello,
I am moving to France in 3 years, I have a motorcycle license in the US where I live now and a bike that I intend to sell before I move. My question is what are the different rules and regulations for European motorcycles and US motorcycles and the laws over there; and are there any restrictions I should know about before I buy a bike there?

European motorcycle licensing process is much more involved and comprehensive than here in the US. All we got to do is pass a written, a simple parking lot skill eval, and we can let loose on any type and displacement motorcycle we want.
For example...
France:

UK:

Both have required mandatory training, live traffic ride-alongs with certified instructors grading you, and restrictions on engine displacement based upon training and experience.
