SF Bay Area people... anyone going to the motorcycle show?

... from November 5-7 at the San Mateo expo center? I know I am. I want to see and sit on all the latest '05 bikes... maybe I'll have a better idea on what my next bike will be. Plus, I heard from other bikers that go every year that there are a few stands that make/sell custom earplugs. I know I'll probably get me a pair. I'm starting to hear a lot of ringing from riding too much.

They tried "giving" me this liquid thing that you wipe on visors that's supopsed to keep fogging off. Then after me and my buddy started walking backwards he told us to give itback to him

Thanks, I totally forgot about the show. How much is it supposed to cost?

About earplugs, do you use any at all right now? I've been using the cheapie disposable Howard Leight Max plugs and they seem to do the trick for me. Some people swear by their custom plugs and others seem not to like them too much.

Haha.... you should have just 'pretended' not to hear the guy. But yeah, the earplugs aren't free.... I think they might be anywhere from 20-40 bucks.

Here's a link for the show:

And about earplugs; yup I use those foam disposable ones that I get from Big 5 Sporting Goods. Sometimes they work but a majority of the time, they fall out. I just want a pair that will just freakin' stay put. So I guess custom will be the only way to go for me. And if these don't work.... well, you know the old saying, 'tough sh*t'. LOL

Edit: if you go to the show, what day will you be going? I'll probably be going on either Saturday or Sunday. I wish it was 7 bucks to get in like the car show at Moscone center. I am not sure if I want to pay 12. But damn, all those new motorcycles....

    I'll be there.

I was going to work at our booth but decided not this year. I'll be at Moto GP next year though.

Whoops, sorry for the late reply. Don't know how I missed it. Thanks for the link. I know what you mean about the foam earplugs. I have to pull on my ears and insert them in funky ways since my ear canals curve the way they do. And then after a long ride, they start to get really uncomfortable because of the pressure.

I'll probably go to the show on Sunday. And to the cost... but I'll probably give in and go anyway.

I haven't been on top of things lately. Is it still possible to get tickets to the GP? Or are they all sold out? I know one of my buddies wants to camp out there.
