The radar detector probably works great in the states but in canada they take it and give you another ticket - it doesn't matter what speed you are going, if it is plugged in they can detect that you have one. The CR-V has plenty of power, test drive one...the new i-VTEC 4 banger is VERY smooth. Glad to help :thumbup:

I think the Pilot is fine for an active male...especially ifthe activities involve camping, bike riding, skiing/snowboarding, towing something such as a jetski or snowmobile. I say go for it. My wife and I might get one for her in a year or so, she likes it and we have no kids but would be great for when we visit the parents...especially at Christmas with all the gifts.
