Will door lock actuators from other models fit the Odyssey? It is a 1996 Honda Odyssey LX with power locks on all four dours. I am assuming if an Accord actuator would work that it would need to be from a four door and not two door ... is that correct? Any help is appreciated.

Edit to add ... the problem is that the van keeps trying to lock after pressing lock from the key fob, which is kind of annoying and also bad for the battery.

Are the lock actuators definitely bad? does it lock fine manually?

I have not actually test the actuator, but in looking through some service records it was noted that the drivers door actuator was bad. That was done at a Honda dealership also, so I am pretty sure that is the cause of the problem.

if the dealer says its bad and there is no record of it being changed then that would be it i think.
