Did you ever find out what the problem(s) was? I'm having the same thing happening to my car. I notice that it doesn't happen much if the weather is cold, but when it gets hot, my headlights go out and won't come on. I checked the fuses but they were all good. I thought maybe the harness but they checked out. Thanks.
