2000RLTiming Belt Cost
I just hit 100K miles on my 2000 RL and wondering how much should I expect to pay for a new timing belt and probably a water pump too. Should I go to a dealer or should I look for good independant mechanic?
Also noted both my front seat bottom plastic covers around the seat controls are cracked. Anyone else having this problem?

Don't have a RL but my guess would be that a timing belt + water pump + tensioner should be in the $600-800 range. If you have a trusted shop that should be good enough, better would be a specialty shop that does mainly Honda/Acura but if you have a good shop I would stick with them.
