1992 Acura Legend 5 spd Good Buy?
It may be a good buy. The vehicles condition depends upon how the owner of the vehicle treated it and maintained it. I purchased a 1992 Acura Legend 2 dr Coupe at a reasonable price of 5000.00 two years ago. It is in mint condition. What I mean in mint condition is that the engine is not rusted, I had to replace the speed transmitter which is easy to change and purchased it online for 97.00. Had to change the SRS coil spring which cost me 745.00 at the Acura dealership, which I could had purchased online for 100.00 and save 645.00 by doing myself. Up-To-Date, no more problems. Car is in good condition and I am not selling mine. I am keeping it and will do some mods on it in the near future. The legend will not leave me on foot. I take good care of my car. I purchased this car with 228000 miles on it and now it has 251000 driven miles. Like I said, the trick to keeping a car in standing condition is to take care of it and change the oil at least 3 months and change the breaks at least 6 months to a year depending on the driving condition and changing the struts and shocks every two years, also depending on the condition of the road. Yes, it is a good buy if the owner maintained the vehicle accordingly. If not, don't buy it. If you know a reputable mechanic that won't sell you out, then let him check it, or if you have a friend that have some mechanic knowledge. Good Luck!

Heads Up
Hey, watch out for head gaskets on this car. Common problem on these cars around this mileage. Big money job & no fun to do. I've done dozens of them & still hate them with a passion. Make sure it has had a timing belt & that it was a factory belt. I have seen many aftermarket belts give up the ghost long before the recommend change interval. Other than that, sounds like a good buy. Enjoy
