my car was mistaken for an eclipse

so i was on my way to a frat party saturday night, and me and a friend stop to get a coke. we walk inside the Quik-Trip to get a drink and this guy asked me what i had done to my car. so i tell him, and he goes "well that sure is a nice eclipse you have there" i asked him if he knew anything about cars. hes like sure " i own a geo metro" its tight. i couldnt believe it. i was like that comment was below the belt. i was so pissed. stupid boy.

Seriously though having owned both a 98 GS-R and a 00 GT Eclipse they are both great cars. Each has its pros and cons.

Overall I liked the GS-R a little more, but of course like every GS-R it was stolen. I couldn't find a decent Honda in this town to replace it so I ended up going the Mitsubishi route.

Well I'm guessing once the cop saw the registration and or ran the license plate he would've seen it wasn't an Accord and might have even screwed your friend more for lying...

...the first ticket i got the cop asked me what kind of car it was....
...once when i was asking for directions an old man said "ohh thats a nice little car you have there, what the hell is it???"
...a man once asked if it was bmw z3 (wtf?)
...and i got a lot of "oooh nice miata!"

now i have a teg...and everyone is like "oh nice teg"...hmm....
there's so many around here that even though i have a gs-r no one really thinks anything of it....i miss having my mystery car lol

Yeah, I get mistaken for both Miatas and MR2s allllllll the time. No Z3 comments, yet. Most people have absolutely zero idea of what a Del Sol is... I get more curious looks than anything else. Especially the high school kids here in town, they scrunch up their eyes and squint, as if my car is one of those 3D pictures you stare at for a few minutes and suddenly a shape jumps out at you....
