the price difference between 16 and 17 rims are only $50, how about tires? how much is the price difference between 16 and 17 inch total 4 of them? more than $100 or less than $100 on all 4 tires?

also, which is more comfortable for road? less noise, etc. i will use the rims just for looks, no racing, etc but i consider other aspects such as comfort and tires prices as this is the one that i replace, not the wheels.

also, do i need to lower if i go 16? lower needed if 17?

Tire prices really depend on the tire company you go with. To be honest, the price difference between 16 and 17 inch tires isn't a lot. Don't know off the top of my head, but a little internet research can help. I personally think a 17 looks better. It'll use a lower profile (sidewall of tire) and your car will handle a little better. Downside ------> you feel the road more. The more tire you have the less you feel the road. But than again you're only talking the difference between 16 and 17 inch so there's really no difference. It's pretty much personal preferance and how much wheel you want.

And... you don't have to go lower but in order to kill access wheelwell it wouldn't hurt. It would look a lot better too.. A set of springs will help you fine, and shouldn't cost you much.

I would go with 16's. Better perfomance with 16's than 17's since there would be less unsprung weight.
