Default greddy turbo kit upgrade

if someone had the greddy turbo kit couldnt they potetially upgrade it by using a larger td05 turbine based turbo. ie a dsm upgrade turbo? i got the idea while talking to my dsm friend. It sounds like it would work as long as the greddy turbo kit uses a 7cm2 housing.

no, if he greddy turbo uses a 7cm2 housing then the dsm turbos shouldnt have any problem fiting on it. i`m just not sure the use the same size housing. they should though because tdo5 based turbines use 7cm2 housings. i also wonder if their would be fitment issuse with the water/ oil lines to the turbo. (not sure wether the greddy turbo is water or oil cooled). since greddy turbos are mitsubishi dirivitives it seems like there wouldnt be any piping issues but i`m not sure. so does anyone out there know any of this stuff? has any one tried it?

The Greddy turbo is larger than the DSM turbos. It's a 18G.

And I believe the Prelude kit uses a td06-18g.

yes it is an 18g which is bigger than stock dsm turbos, but i was talking about dsm upgrade turbos ie. a 20g or a mitsu garret hybrid. even though it is an 18g it should still use the same turbine housing as a 16g and a 20g. and to clarify i was talking about the integra kit, i thought it would be obvious though since we`re in the teg forum.
