Clicking sound when i press clutch.
hi guys, ive got this kind of annoying problem with the car. Every time i press the clutch it makes this clicking sound and it makes the same sound when i release the clutch. Do any of you guys know what is going on with it? Thanks

does it click when 1st engaged or at floor? did it just start or been doing it? sounds like it could just be the clutch safety switch. and if it just started maybe the switch is going bad. if you lay in the floor board and look up at clutch pedal and linkage can you tell when exactly it clicks, i.e. when it hits the switch

i believe it clicks when u hit the floor, and today i noticed that it did it twice, ones when i begin to press it and ones when i hit the floor. But that went away and it only does it when i almost touch the floor. Thanks

hey i got the same problem with my 95 teg. it clicks when i release it from the floor ... does this mean that i have to get a new clutch or is it okay for now to drive on it? it just happened today too.

it happened to me years ago.. then it went away, sort of came back. went away again. it seems to be quite common. everything is still fine though. i'm not entirely sure where it comes from, but i have my ideas.
