Droppin in JDM ITR pistons...few questions...
well they came today in the mail, and the dissassembly process will begin in a few hours. ive decided againts honing the block due to funds and lack of time that i can have the motor out of the car. im leaving the motor in the car for the change so the block wont be removed anyway. i know that some people swear that hone is totally neccessary and i know if i see cylinder damage i will definetly do it, but honestly is it totally neccessary to do? i know as far as i can tell the motor is real healthy, absolutely no oil consumption, compression #'s consistent 175-185...just trying to figure a few things out in advance...any replies or opinions is appreciated, thanx in advance
PS...anyone have experience with a similair swap? was there a noticeable difference goin from GSR 10:1 to JDM ITR 11.3:1???
