Default 1pc vs 2 pc header ?

Yeah, want to know which 1 you recommend? Its a 98 Gsr. Dc 4-2-1 1 pc or the 4-2-1 2 pc.

Thanks

the difference between the two is where the power comes in. one is at low end and the other is at high end where v tec gets crucial.. i recommend 1 pc

I think what cruzalekz is referring to is a 4-1 vs a 4-2-1 header. I just installed a 4-1 (1 piece) stainless DC on my LS last week. Getting it out was fine, getting the new one in was a bitch. Had to remove one cooling fan and the clutch slave cylinder out of the way to ease the install. May not be necessary, but it definitely helped, even with 2 people. My cousin warned me of this since he did a 4-1 one piece on his GSR with a DC Sports. The OE header is a 2 piece, for ease of install. I recommend a 2 piece if possible. I wanted stainless, so the only way I could go was with a 4-1 (1 piece). If you want a 4-2-1, they claim that it provides more low end grunt than the 4-1, which allegedly gives more high RPM power. According to DC Sports and a couple Honda power and performance books that I've read, both provide good power throughout the RPM band, with the 4-1 providing a little more up high. The dyno graphs I've seen show little power differences between the 2 designs on a B16 or B18C engine. Hope this helps. Either way, go with DC sports, you should be happy.
