Default Power steering fluid in the brake system

I poured some power steering fluid in my brake resevior. My brake got spongy so I flushed them and it worked for a while, but think either the power steering fluid floated on top of the brake fluid or my seals are damaged. Can some one please give me a little guidance on how to repair this. I have been driving around on my E brake and I need to get it fixed soon. Thanx.

im pretty sure that power steering fluid is petroleum based.

anything petroleum based + rubber seals not designed to see petroleum (brake parts) can and will experience failure. buuuut honda parts are pretty stout. maybe you might get away with another flush.

did u syphon out the fluid from the reservoir before u did the flush? the same thing happened to my brother, but we didnt let the fluid sink into the rest of the system

No I did followed a walkthrough on how to flush my system and it was a bad walk through. I ran all fluid through and kept adding more. I peformed another complete flush today with no luck; I have no pressure. I think I need to rebuild my master cylider; I saw some fluid dripping down from that area when I was under the car today. Does anyone know what else I need to replace or rebuild?
