Default short shifter causing problems

its been about 700 miles ive put on my car since ive installed short shifter and i already noticed 2 times that sometimes it feels like when im in gear , the tranny wants to spit it out and then when i pulled it out of gear nuetral was like stiff at all hell, when i was trying to move it side to side it felt like i was trying to stir clay. Then shortly after it miraculously dissapeared and shifting was perfectly fine??? i dont get it , im going to re-install stock shifter this weekend.

throwout bearing or a synchro problem...wouldnt expect synchros to be bad with so few miles, but since you got the short shifter, have you been speed shifting as much as possible...a few missed shifts can screw up a synchro
