Default Best boost for Integra

Okay, first I'll say this is a theoritical thread as I have not purchased the body yet, still looking for the right one. But I have lotsa money and a jdm b18c1 lined up and ready to go. I want to go all out with it, doing it right the first time. Before I even drop the engine in I want to re-inforce the engine: i.e. titanium retainers, race valves and valve springs; turbo cams; eagle rods; all the fuel and air goodies + electronics. So with that out of the way (and a buncha $$$ outta my pocket) my question is in all your infinite wisdom: What is the best turbo system you guys know about? I want to run about 16-20 lbs of boost, huge intercooler(of course), so what do you think, any preferences? I heard the T3/T4 hybrid is a good design. Something about the T3 faster spinning and the T4 better housing, or vice versa, anyways I wanna know what you guys think? Help me unload my pockets some more!

OK I'll help you unload your pockets.....make a check out to me for 4,000 dollars so I can get that turbo kit..........

Yes the T3/T4 is a good turbo, not the fastest spooling, but it makes very good power. Keep in mind though that the b18c1 is not the optimal engine for high boost turbo applications.

How much money do you have to spend?

www.importbuilders.com

If you have a choice between the B18B or B18C, obviously the GSR motor is the right choice.

As for the impending question of how to handle that 16-20PSI...someone else please get into that

Like I said above I have a good deal of money to work with (thanks to an insurance settlement) and I already have a jdm gsr engine all lined up to buy(still looking for the body to put it into) and I'm going to be re-inforcing everything like I said above so I'm not worried about handling the boost. I was just looking for some suggestions of good kits..thanks...=cŪ

check out www.full-race.com , they have a damn nice kit, and they make a great equal length manifold.

i would say put together your own custom kit. It is cheaper and also you can get better parts. Sounds like you want a 400whp b18c1.
