Default Went to the track on Friday

It's a 2000 gsr with cold air and stock tires

Here's how my slip reads

R/T....362
60....2.426
330....6.615
1/8.....9.977
Mph....73.08
1000...12.846
1/4.....15.255
Mph...93.84

If I could have got some traction I could have got a better time. What are you guys running? Anyone make it to the track yet?

comments like that show your inadequecy (sp?) in reading a timeslip.

his 73mph trap speed is the 1/8mile mark.

his reaction time is stated as 0.362 and although 0.500 is the "mark" for street car event, he could get 3.62sec R/T and it still wont affect his actual e.t. and trapspeed.

sorry i didnt see the bottom mph. i never said that his r/t time would effect his trap speed. i was juss askin. but if his r/t time was a .362 thats pretty much not possible cuz i believe a perfect r/t time is a .5 if he also had a reation time of 3.62 i think it would effect his 1/4 time...

these r juss questions... dont get all anal wit me. im not a track genious here... all i know is that i go on the last yellow, shift gears and break after the finish line. educate me

didnt meant to come off as some anal dood...but anyway, yes a "perfect" reaction time on the tree would be 0.500 sec.

but again, even if he did have a 3sec R/T, it will not affect the actual ET and trapspeed. the R/T is calculated from the moment the light turns green and his car trips the light.
