Fuel Pump / Relay

I was told by a mechanic that my fuell pump was dead which is why my car wasn't starting. I replaced the pump, filter, and strainer, and still no start. A friend of mine who helped me install this, said it cud be my relay which is causing the problem.

if anyone has any ideas on what the problem might be please let me know. I didn't get the enjoyment out of my car yet cuz i havent had it that long

Could be the relay. I had a problem with my car that if i drove it for more than 10 minutes or so and shut it off it wouldnt start back up immediately, it would have to cool down for hours.

The relay would get hot and stick off when the car was shut off, after it cooled down the relay would switch back on when i turned the key. Replaced the relay and no problems since. It wasnt that expensive from Rock Auto, none of the local parts stores had it, im sure honda/acura will have it.

I would check the relay, also there's a few fuses I would be checking first.

remove your air intake and spray fuel into the throttle body, if it fires, your fuel isnt getting to your engine, if it doesnt fire, its not fuel related.
