Chrome: Yay or nay ?

i was wondering what you guys think of chrome wheels.. not big bling bling ones... like a set of motegi Mr7's in chrome for a gsr?

Like someone put it before, Chrome =Ghetto.

They weigh a hell of alot ( especially if you are getting wheels larger than 15"), so if you are gonna get them, forget about racing anyone. If you like that so much they have wheels made out of lighter material that looks almost like chrome. My opinion though, is to get white wheels. They look hot, especially on tegs

I have the Motegi Mr7 on my White Gsr. I am not to concerned with the go part cause it is a Gsr. I think they look nice. I will post a pic if you would like to see them.

any chrome rim is going to put you in that catagory. There's the non-chrome guys, and the chrome guys. My buddy has a nice Accord with Chrome Enkeis that look damn good... but it looks ghetto to me.

IMHO, chrome looks like shizzle on tegs and civics (and so do 19" rims). Even for "show", it is just retarded. Of course, some people think that 17" racing rims look like pizzle on our cars....just depends on who you talk to. Seriously though, it's not very tasteful to chrome out a car unless you have mad scrilla and a 1/4 tank a gas in yo noo e-class.....
