Is your oil milky at all? Has it ever overheated to a point where you had to shut the car off or it quit running?

stop the leak. the coolant system needs to be sealed off from the atmosphere so the boiling point can be higher inside the coolant system. if there's a leak, the coolant's boiling point will be too low and the car will get too hot.
run a coolant system pressure test. if it doesnt hold pressure at around 1 BAR, then you've got a leak that needs to be corrected.

thats easy, you already where the leak is, then all you do is fix it.
at the shop where i work, i pressure test the system and look for leaks, since you know where your leak is, you know what to do.

It's used, so you never know, but I'd try several other things (fixing the leak being first on the list of course) before even considering that as the problem.
Not saying you're wrong, but if it was low oil pressure causing excess heat, you'd expect the oil light to be on.

Short of running next to no oil or a significantly thicker grade then recommended (esp. in cold weather), you shouldn't have to worry too much about a Honda/Acura oil pump.
