What's up everyone. This my question about the 98-01 fogs vs the 94-97 fogs. Why is it so hard to find the fogs for the 98-01 vs the 94-97 you can find everywhere you name it. Since they are hard to find can you modify some 94-97's or use maybe some ek's.
A buddy of mine moded some ek's in his 01 S2K.

The 94-97 JDM OEM fogs are in constant high demand and supply is limited because our front end was only sold in Japan for one model year.

You already know the the 94-97 fogs and the 98-01 fogs aren't interchangable.

If you've got a 94-97, the best bet is to use a set of E6 foglights.
If it's a 98-01 we're talking about, EK fogs will require less work.
It'll take a bit of fabrication work in either case, but IMO it's the best course of action.

i've seen people modify 94-97 fogs into 98+ bumpers, and honestly, it doesnt look that great.

i was browsing the net leisurely when i came across the for sale thread for my jdm fogs, and now that they're in the car, i'm not that impressed. yeah they help the lighting output, but its nowhere near as effective as lets say, the oe fogs on my 240sx.

I would go with the 99-00 EK's like Dave said if I do. Just not sure do I want the clear or the yellow. I have the Super Sonic Blue.
If anyone have EK fogs on their 98-01 post a picture up if they can. I'd appreciate that.
