    Rear brakes scrubbing

When I am driving, there is a scrubbing sound coming from the rear brakes. Doesn't occur constantly, but will stop for a while if I pull the emergency brake handle and release. Any ideas?

Have you done any brake work on the car recently?

Sounds like a sticky caliper to me.

No, never done any brake work on this car (only had it a few months), but I will check the caliper. Thanks

it might be as simple as the wear indicators rubbing from worn brake pads
