    B18 auto transmission removal?

Ok so I bought a JDM engine and tranny. They cut the cable and I dont know how to remove it so I can replace it. Any ideas... I'm trying to get this done tonight.

Not clear of the pic, but it appears you can just remove the locking bolt towards the end of the yellow paint mark and the rest of the cable should pull off the spline.

I thought that same thing... after spending 5 minutes to try and pry the bracket off I gave up. I think thats the only way that I'm going to get it open though.

Yea, that's the only way to remove it. That whole linkage is part of the cable.
