K20A motors are still commanding a very high street price.
You'll easily spend $6000 on the swap, only to get about 190 hp at the wheels.
That same $6K will do much more for you if spent bulding your B18C1.
With an appropriately tuned turbo setup, you could be looking at 300 to the wheels.
Read through the Integra FAQ to bone up on your forced induction options. Also, run a few forum searches for the GReddy bolt-on turbo kit.
Lastly, welcome to the board.

That would be a complete waste- theres no physical difference between the LS and GS-R besides the engine and some suspension- both of which would obviously be changed in a good swap- besides that the B-series is a more than competent performer
For starters I'd ask myself "Where is it made to drive, how much am I willing to spend, and what do I want out of it"
Take care in answering that last part too- too many people jump the gun and say "more power" without really thinking about things first.

Do_od don't forget about the handling, power without control is just stupid
Spend the 6K on the Greddy bolt on kit, Intercooler, and maybe if you have enough left a good coilover system!!!!
In my opinion a Integra with 250WHP is a safe and fast Integra, don't really need more to get a blast out of the car!
I Had 196WHP on my type-r and had more fun every day than my buddy Don with his 280RWHP MR2
Good luck man, Keep us updated on your build and welcome to HAN!
P.S - Skrew the K20

whats the purpose of adding performance parts to your car (seriously)?
a. street racing
b. to impress the guys (face it, chicks dont care about integras - at least the ones worthwhile) at local car meets/etc
c. on-ramps/canyons/freeway
d. sanctioned drag racing
e. autocross
f. road racing
g. mileage
h. internet
i. d, e, and f
j. a, b, h
if you picked j, then the k-swap is perfect for you
if you picked i, then you're assed out because you're going to be placed in a class with cars that are 100x faster/experienced than you are if you go with the k-swap. if u keep the gsr, you're in good shape.
if you picked d, you should have went with a muscle car (5-6k on a swap/crate motor in a good shell can get you a 9 sec car)
if you picked a, stop doing that, and go to a real sanctioned event. its just not worth it.
my suggestion is to keep the gsr, and keep the money for tires/brakes/helmet/safety for autocross and roadcourse events.

If you write him off, you're missing out on experience and wisdom that will otherwise serve you well.

He made some good points, one I thing I urge you not to do:
DON'T BUILD IT SO YOU CAN GO OUT ON THE STREETS AND KILL SOME NINJAS!
Build the car for yourself and not to impress others!
