Knock sensor problem!
1997 Gsr with b16a1 pistons.
A little background, i spun a bearing and rebuilt the motor myself (with help of buddies) and reversed the tps / map sensor plugs. I turned it on a few times with the terminals reversed but never put an load on the car.
After switching the sensor plugs the car runs fine. It's got about 500 miles on the newly rebuilt motor but there's 1 problem: a p0328 i think (i forget the actuall code number but it's the knock sensor malfunction code). If you guys need the actual code, i'll grab it with a scanner.
Now i've swapped it with a working knock sensor and it still throws the code. The car runs fine, just no vtec with the code on.
Does anyone know what the problem could possibly be or know how to check if it's a wiring issue? I'm pretty lost as to how to go about this.
Thanks.

Google Honda hookup manuals for a helms in PDF format.
You can check the wiring with a volt meter.
Did you clear the code with your scanner or by disconnecting the battery?
Are you getting any other codes? I can't remember if the knock sensor plug is reversable with something else, but that's another possibility.
I did the same thing with TPS and MAP, took me 3 days to figure that one out...

That's the only code i'm getting. Hmm... i've checked down there to make sure that's the only plug and i'm pretty sure it's correct (man is that a bitch to get to).
