my car started squeaking while I was driving and it got a lot worse after I heard Something fall. pulled into ã parking lot and one of my belts was Barely hanging on.
during my investigation I found out ã bolt fell off causing ã pulley to come loose in an act of retardation I yanked it out causing my power steering belt to come off. by accident.
now the ac belt is ã Little loose because of the missing pulley. which is now in my passenger seat.

I know this might sound retarded but is it safe to Drive with no powersteering and ã loose ac belt?

thanks

96 teg ls.
sorry posting From my phone.

Pruned, re-titled and moved to Integra / ITR.

I believe the tension adjustment for the PS pump drive belt is built into the pump mount itself. I have yet to replace my PS belt, so without checking my Helms manual, I'm not 100% sure.

In either case, it's not brain surgery. You should be fine assuming you have a decent set of metric sockets & end wrenches.

There's a wing nut on top of the ps unit. Loosen the two mounting bolts, with the car not running , and tighten away! Retighten moutain bolts. Robert
