Default usdm type-r

i am interested in buying a 5-lug type-r disc brake conversion. i am unsure of the axle splines on the usdm verses the jdm setups. and can i also use regular teg/civic rear lower control arms on a usdm r rear disc? any help would be much appreciated.

I think the JDM axles are larger than the USDM models. If they don't fit, you only need the outer joint, as it will mate to your current axles.

Regular LCA's will bolt up.

i was under the impression that the usdm ones used all the same or similar suspension components.

The shock mounts for the ITR are different, but if your using non ITR LCA's that won't matter.
