    exedy clutches and flywheel.........

Is exedy clutches and flywheel ok or are they junk? I just purchased a lightened flywheel (9.46 pounds) and a stage 2 clutch. Is this a good buy?

Tuner Transformation slapped one on a 4 or 500hp something Supra, so I'll think you'll be ok. These shows usually don't give plugs on crap.

ACT is better, but Exedy will work just fine for a mild build up.

Also, I forgot to mention that I personally like Centerforce clutch products. Just thought I would put that out there.

I have an Exedy stage 1 in my 95 GSR and it performs great. It was not worth going for an ACT or Exedy stage 2 with only a header and exhaust on my car.

exedy makes good clutches but if you are building a high hp motor i would opt for a act. i have an act in my teg and a exedy in my 01 vic. the vic isnt very modded just intake header cat pipe exhaust and clutch and flywheel. it holds the power nicely but then again i am not making a lot of power

I also have an Exedy Stage1...I haven't had any problems, I love it. I kinda wish I had something a little stiffer but anything is better than the stock Honda clutch!

Not sure if your going with a six puck but if you are going with a stage 2 clutch that might be a six puck dont do the lightened flywheel. lightened flywheels and 6pucks dont make good daily driveable setup's go back with a stock flywheel. i ran into this problem before, and the car likes to jump alot with that setup when letting out slowly at times

It would be wiser to go with a full surface disk and a lightweight flywheel than the other way around. The drivability problems aren't from the flywheel...it is from the crappy engagement of the 6 puck.
