Need help, is the repairs worth it?
ok so I just bought a 1999 integra LS that has 90k and there is a crack in teh bondo on the drivers side quarter pannel (from an old accident apperently) and it is about 12 in long (pretty noticable if you are looking for it) and so it is going to cost $1000 to fix I bought the car for $6000 and the paint is slightly faded in some places (red) and so I was wondering if you guys thought that it would be worth it? I dont know a whole lot about the value and stuff, Also I need to do the 90k service soon (about $1000) so let me know what you think!

i wouldnt trust maaco. i'm not sure how the maaco around you guys are, but the one here charged my friend an extra 600 dollars to fix the sanding job he did and do some unneccesary (sp?) bodywork, then when he got the car back the paint bubbled and chipped... waste of $900. if the body damage isnt major i'd see if maybe a friend of yours knows how to do body work and help you out, if thats not an option then just do like these guys said and get as many estimates as you can.
