Thinking of buying an Integra..
I found a black 94 Integra LS hatchback for $3750. It looks very clean, has 146,000 miles and comes with 17"s. Is this a good buy? Never owned an Integra before so I thought i'd ask people that know what thier talking about. Thanks

thats not a bad price for a 94 ls considering the mileage ofcourse...i would ask the owner how long he has had? does it have any mechanical issues that need to be addressed? simple questions that scream at you until its time to say sold!!!!

go see the car. drive it. ask to see service records. if he doesn't have records, don't believe him about work performed. look at the title. run a carfax (carfax is practically useless anyway, but what the hell) before you buy, take it to a honda/acura DEALER and spend $100 to have them do a pre-purchase inspection. after that, negotiate price a little bit, and you have your car. if it turns out it needs a bunch of work, that $100 could save you thousands.
tegs are wonderful little cars. fun to drive, reliable, cheap to own/operate. you'll love it, but take your time and make sure you find a clean one. i've had 2 so far.

beware
I bought my son a 95 teg and thought it was in good shape. That was
$4500.00 ago on top of the $4100.00 I paid for it. Have it checked
out thoroughly by a professional.
Good luck,

Good luck,
I most definitely agree with this. I thought my teg was pretty clean when I bought it, only to find out there were a lot of problems and issues that I didn't know about. Make sure you get it checked out, top to bottom.

a full diagnostic at a honda dealer will cost you no more than $150. that's chump change compared to $4500 in repairs.
