    Widest rims for a teg

I am looking at some rims for my car for next summer, seeing how much cash I'm gonna need. I am looking at the wheel sizes, 17x7, 17x7.5, 17x8, 17x9, and am wondering what size will fit the teg?

Am I limited to a (15-18)x7.5? Can I fit a wider tire on the car? Wider tire = more grip = . Anyway, if someone can help me with this, it would be appreciated. I am looking at getting the SSR's or Volks, but they may be beyond my means.

    Thanks

the widest recommended is a 7.5", but with an offset of at least +40

I'm running a 17x7.5, and had minor rubbing issues, but I rolled the fenders a bit and it's fine now. I don't know about 17x8's...
