So, you did decide to buy the whole package from Cityspeed. Good stuff.

If you were closer, I would help you put it on. If you run into any problems, let me know. Let me know how the installation goes.

I hate to tell you this, but you WILL get failed if they run the CARB number during a smog inspection. CARB numbers are engine-specific, and if they get a response that it's supposed to be a kit for a B18B, and you've installed it on a B18C1 regardless if you run it with a GS-R turbo manifold, they will fail you.

A smart tech will not accept that carb plaque. Those plaques he's selling are designed to ONLY deter cops from giving you a ref ticket.

I honestly wish you the best of luck in getting a smog check passed. If you have to go to a Ref station though, it's all over...

You know you'll have to use different charge piping and downpipe right?

gsr charge piping bends downward to fit the tb's lower position than what would be found on an ls.

Then it'll be fine for you since you have an aftermarket IM and an 00 GSR.

I knew you would pull your head out of your ass sometime.

Looks like everything is covered. If you can dig up your last post where I gave you the wiring instructions for the blue box, then you will be set to do the installation yourself. Good luck.

I did it with a little help from my girlfriend in about 10 hours total in my garage with jackstands and hand tools. It isn't hard at all, it is just time consuming and there is a lot to do. Surprisingly, it was the first project that went without a hitch. I would consider my first suspension job more of a pain in the ass than installing the turbo kit.

I am in Orange County and that doesn't help you much since you are in the bay area.

That wouldn't be a problem. Hit me up with a PM and we can arrange something. My buddy thought it was pretty bad ass even though he has a 12:1 compression 2.0 B18C all motor civic.

Reliability isn't an issue if it is properly tuned and the engine is maintained. As long as it is warmed to optimal operating temperature before beating on it, it shouldn't wear out any faster than a stock engine.

Cant wait to boost. Do you have pics of your gsr shmoo. How does it pull schmoo, hows the torque and does it pull hard when it hits vtec.

Schoo you know the black lines in the middle of bumper. Will that be removed when you swap it with type 31 intercooler. Is it bolts that remove it????

Here are some pics of my kit installed. I painted the intercooler black to match the sleeper look, so you can't really see it but if you know it is there, it isn't that hard to tell.

I actually didn't have to modify the bumper at all to get the intercooler to fit. You will have to trim the splash guard on the drivers side to get the second charge pipe through to the intercooler but a reciprocating saw quickly took care of that.

Also, those two black panels on my bumper hide the blue couplings of the intercooler, so you cannot see at all. The only thing you will have to modify to get the intercooler to fit is to move the AC condenser line behind the PS cooler line.

Another tip is to secure the splashguard with the two bolts that hold the bottom of the intercooler on. It says in the instructions to mount the intercooler with all the bolts but then when you put the splash guard back on, it hangs really low, so take the bolts off and secure the splashguard with them.

Hey shmoo. How much clearance do you have from radiator to turbo manifold. As you can see i have a fluidyne radiator which is thicker core with a slim fan on the driver side. Are you using the stock driver side fan still on your radiator/?
