Default Induction kit question???

I have just installed an AEM V2 on my ITR, First thing i noticed was that it didnt sound right or well. I was in a type r last week and it sounded fantastic!! with same kit from same place???

I dunno but it doesnt sound as raspy or throaty as the car last week and the change over didnt seem to sound that define??

Anyone any ideas as to why?

Anyone else experience this with an induction kit?

I remember on an ek4 civic i noticed the same but jus shrugged it off

Hope i explained it good itsjus doesnt have the same deep sound as it should but the car seems to be going /driving/ performing perfect otherwise

Thanks

Were you driving the intial R that you saw with the kit? When you are outside the car, you can hear everything better. That is why when you go through a tunnel, your car will sound better than if you are just driving on the open road. So I am assuming that after you installed the kit, you weren't impressed because the sound is somewhat muffled from the road noise.
