hi everyone. i have a 96 ls. it came with custom 2.25" piping from the cat-back and what i assume is a straight throgh non-stainless oval muffler. over all it sounded pretty good, it wasn't too loud and had a nice deep tone. well last week i noticed a sqeaking noise coming from the rear end of my car, and much to my dismay upon further inspection i found that welds of my muffler had deteriorated where the cannister meets the inlet. as a result my car now makes this horrible screeching noise whenever the engine is on because the cannister is now rubbing all over the inlet pipe. what a cheap muffler! i wanted to get something similar, but not too expensive, and stainless, so decided to get this.
My old muffler was basically the same style and dimesions, and i have a hookup at a local shop so i can get this put no problem. what do you guys think about it?
