Default '89 Integra Engine Swap

I am in the process of buying a 89 Integra with a bent rod. I want to put a better engine in it like a B18 or an F22A or B or an H22A. Now i know they make swap kits for those engines. Has anyone here swaped the engine in an integra of that year. Anyone have an engine they would like to sell

Well, if I havent said so already, welcome to HAN.

The B18B will be easy and affordable. If you wanted to trailblaze, build up a B20Z out of the 97-2000 CR-V. F's aren't worth the trouble IMO, and H22's are growing rarer by the day.

For more info on hybrids and motor swaps, check out our Hybrid Forum and our Engine Tech & Tuning forum. To find a motor for sale, have a gander at our Parts Classifieds forum.

I had an 89 w/a fully built zc dropped in. Dropped right in to the stock mounts, no fabrication needed and could some serious smoking. b16-18 is as high as you might want to go. I looked into dropping an h22 when I still owned the car and the shop was like we could do it...but a lot of things have to be replaced and reinforced. So if I had the $$$ I may have gone for it but the price at the time was around $5500 and I just decided to sell my 89 and get a 99 GS-R.

zc can be purchased from www.speed-garage.com for about 5 bills. Shipping is about 2 bills and that's to a business.
