95 Integra Auto Trans with V-Tec???
I just got a 95 Integra Special Edition (non-V-Tec) with a 4 speed auto trans. With the holidays I don't have the money to swap the trans. The car is needed right now anyway so taking it all apart for a swap just wont work right now. I have a type R v-tec head with all the goods that go with it (headers ,nice intake) that I would like to put on it I have from a CRX project but does any one know what ECU set up I will have to run to make the V-Tec and the auto trans to work together if at all possible.
Any Help at all would be great

been there done that
its spelled vtec. if you have an itr head with a valve cover shame on you. :nono:
you could try to find an ecu from a jdm auto b16. but those are few and far between. do a manual conversion and be done with it. vtec and auto = :a:

by the way, im going to recommend against just putting said head on your current bottom end.
you will need to do some extra work to make this a reliable and powerful engine. thus, plan on having some downtime.

I have the Type R pistons and Rods, ARP bolts as well I would be adding them part at the same time. I could do all that in a week end. The swap on the trans I have never done and will have to run down the parts.
What chip would I need to put in the P28 ECU to work with theType R head
