Default is it ok to use non mandrel pipes fer intercooler?

hey i was wondering would it be ok to use non mandrel piping for my intercooler? whats good and bads about it? i need urgent help!!!

If you wanted to, sure. Mandrel bends are smoother than crush bends, and retain the same pipe diameter throughout. Crush bends are very sloppy and often pinch the pipe in the bends.

That would probably work fine but will never be better than mandrel bent.

I would just got with mandrel bent from the beginning, so you don't have to buy 2 different sets of piping. Do it the right way, the first time.
