Remove Air Intake Resonator + High Flow Filter = Cheap CAI?
I was wondering if I remove the intake resonator and then slap on a high flow filter KN or something similar would that be somewhat similar in performance to a CAI like an AEM? I was thinking it is taking air from close to the same area. Thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks!

Yo I have a 96 gsr all motor runs flat 12's and I bought a short ram intake including a filter, than i used my friends olf jetta short ram intake pipe and made a custom CAI this was all before my aem v2 w/K&N Filter which gets me another hp or 2 really nothing noticible, it can be done and done good with the right length piping. BTW I am selling a High Flow cat forr 100$ and i'll pay for shipping. Its JDM and I have the same one on my car, 100% stainless steel made by sprinter.
