I installed my gauges without removing the needles, and I believe that is way to get them done. Everything works fine except my gas needle, it's sticking and I need to go back in and fit it up.
Quick question though, even if the gas needle sticks around the middle mark, will the gas light still come on if you are low on gas?

Problem is fixed, well kind of, My factory gauges are in Kms and I wanted to put the AC ones on that are in miles, It turns out that AC Autotechnic is to blame for this mix up. The AC gauges are out of line to my kms (meaning the 60mph is at the top left on the AC gauge and the 60mph is directly at the top on my factory gauge), so it turns out no matter what, the gauge would have read 15mph too fast. Now unless there is a way to adjust that, it seems as though the numbers on the AC gauge is out of line. Luckily the guy at the shop short circuited the speedo gauge so they gave me a brand new set of Ractive ones for free. So I guess it turned out pretty good in the end.

And for jr kbad, the gas light should still go on cause I believe the sensor for that is in the gas tank itself, is it not? somebody correct me if I'm wrong

95 GSR speedo reads high
I recently got a GPS and was using it on a long trip in my 95 GSR. The GPS was indicating a speed that was consistently 10% lower than the GSR's speedometer.
To verify, I clocked a measured mile at exactly 60 MPH (according to speedo), and low and behold -- the GPS was accurate. My factory original speedometer was reading 10% high. No wonder I got so few speeding tickets!
Has anyone else had a similar problem?
How can I fix this?
