bought a G2 integra last night!!!
hey guys, just bought a G2 integra last night, and i love it. im in school right now, and i cant wait to get home and do some small things to it. i have a couple pictures of it, but these were just the seller pics. let me know what u think.
1992 Acura Integra RS
2 door hatchback
5 speed
Black w/Black interior
144,000 miles
paid $1900
(the hood is all black - that pink tint is clouds reflecting off the finish)
(yea, i'll need help removing that pinstripe, already have a couple ideas)
couple things, he said he did a compression test and he got this:
1: 200
2: 185
3: 195
4: 200
is that normal? i know perfect would be if they were all 200, but is 195 and 185 good enough?
also, the timing is advanced to +18° TDC so can i only use 93 octane. how do i kick back the timing, becuz i would imagine that the car would kinda 'putter' with lower octane.

That's really clean and for a good price, good show.
You need a timing light to kick it back to stock spec. If you don't have a timing light, buy one. They come in handy.

Yeah it sounds like you got a pretty damn good deal. She should run for years I guess.
Definetely get rid of those stripes!
I know I just run 93 octane anyway.
So yeah have fun with her and drive extra careful the first few weeks.

Yeah.
Sometimes I wonder why people would shave the moldings, cause it takes a lot away from the intended look of the car, but the stripes are just unnessasary IMO.
