well let me start out this way, anything is possible with enough money but , you say it has a d-series in it huh. is it a obd1 car?? if so with a obd1 d series, i think the mount points are the same so you should infact be able to do that swap. You may want to put up a post in the civic forum since there is ALOT more traffic in there. Do that and see what others have to say.

You seem mostly concerned w/the physical dimensions and motor mounts.

You will not have a problem with those if you are already able to fit a D16 into it.

I am assuming that the Rover you have is one of those little ones built in cooperation with Honda, anyway.

You know...like the one Richard Bucket (Hyacinth's husband) drives.

If it all ready had a D16 in it all you would need is a set of say B series CRX mounts and you can drop a B series in the car. Use a set of 91 teg axles, get a obd1 conversion harness and a Hondata ecu and it should work.. Sounds like fun i wish you were closer. I love swaps..I am dropping a RX-7 12a in a Spitfire right now and we are dropping a SHO v-6 in the back of a 911 to make a real mid engine as well. For pics look at out CRC site..

Just the motor, or suspension and everything like the flared fender GRM Spitfire?
