Wheel bearing problems
Anybody replaced all their wheel bearing on 3d gen teg?
I own a 96 teg with 220 000 km and all the wheel bearing failed, one by one, at maybe 10 000 intervals. And now, the same noise again, the front left seems to be worn out again, about 10 000k after I've replaced it.
anybody experienced this??

for the last one replaced, I've changed the bearing first and noticed a month later that when the technician replaced the bearing he damaged the hub so I had the replace the hub and put the bearing back in. The new bearing that was in the damaged hub didn't seem damaged so I put it in a new hub. Meanwhile I had brake problems and the whole wheel overheated a lot, so maybe the bearing overheated too???

It's possible. I'd never pull a bearing out and re-press it back in. I had to replace a wheel bearing and I just replaced the whole hub and I haven't had a problem

I've never heard of people having problems by just replacing the wheel bearing instead of the entire hub...just make sure its done correctly and you should be fine.
